Cam Newton believes Panthers owner David Tepper is going to take a big swing at landing a head coach next season.
Speaking on his “4th&1” show on YouTube, the former Carolina star shared intel that Tepper believes he can get Bill Belichick to come to the Queen City.
“I think [David] Tepper, knowing what I do know, he’s hoping that he can land Bill Belichick. That right there will be a win-win-win-win for David Tepper,” Newton explained.

“The thing that I know would be the enticing lure to it, is because Tepper will give him everything that he would need,” Cam added. “And also that will allow Belichick to say, ‘You know what, things didn’t work out [with the Patriots], now I can show you I can do it somewhere else.'”
The Carolina Panthers cleaned house earlier this week by firing Frank Reich and a number of other offensive assistants including Josh McCown and Duce Staley.
Do you think Bill Belichick would ever consider Carolina?
