The New England Patriots met with Jaylin Noel at the Senior Bowl, and according to the underrated Iowa State wide receiver prospect, the meeting went “really good.”
Noel was an electric weapon for the Cyclones offense last season when recording 80 catches for 1,194 yards and eight touchdowns. He is currently projected to be a mid-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft
“I’m willing to do anything they’d want me to do. I feel like I’m a very versatile player, and when it comes down to it I’m going to do whatever the team needs of me,” Noel said when asked about the Patriots, via The Patriots Beat’s Andrew Guindon.
The Patriots are expected to target a receiver in free agency, but they could also continue adding to the position in the draft. They desperately lacked reliable playmakers last season.
A player like Noel could be worth a flier for a Patriots team looking to upgrade at wide receiver. He’d be an explosive playmaking option in the slot with elite route-running talent.
The Patriots could surely use more players like that on their roster.
