Bill Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson has become a very popular topic in large part because of their age gap. After all, it’s not often you see a 24-year-old former competitive cheerleader date a 72-year-old former NFL coach.
Plenty of people are criticizing Belichick for dating someone much younger, but Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy isn’t one of them.
On this Wednesday’s edition of the “BFF” podcast, Portnoy made it clear that he’s not going to judge Belichick’s relationship.
“It’s a big gap. You guys have problems with age gaps,” Portnoy said, via the New York Post. “That’s fine, I don’t judge.”
Portnoy then suggested that he could potentially run into Belichick and Hudson in Massachusetts. For what it’s worth, all three of them were at Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame ceremony last Wednesday.
Speaking of Brady, he’s trending on social media this week because of an old joke he made about Belichick’s relationship. That joke was said during his Netflix roast.
“Everybody asks me which ring is my favorite, I used to say ‘the next one.’ But now that I am retired, my favorite Ring is the camera that caught coach Belichick slinking out of that poor girl’s house a few months ago,” Brady said. “Hey, you still got it. Respect baby.”
Belichick has not yet publicly addressed the comments surrounding his relationship nor is he obligated to.
