Maye has been a full participant this week with a knee injury.
New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye told reporters in London on Friday that he is ready to go for Sunday despite popping up on the injury report with a knee injury this week.
“I’m feeling good. Last two days, felt good out there at practice. Feeling good now. Ready to go for Sunday,” said Maye.
Despite the injury, Maye has been a full participant on New England’s injury report the last two days. Both him and head coach Jerod Mayo declined to comment if the injury occurred during last weekend’s loss to the Texans or sometime this week.
During the media-attended portion of practice in Foxboro on Wednesday and Thursday, the quarterback did not show any sign of discomfort.

“I’m not sure if it was a residual from the game or not. What I will say is he looks good. He’s been out there at practice and taken the majority of the reps,” Mayo said. “I’m confident that he’ll be ready to play [Sunday].”
Neither quarterback or coach would additionally confirm whether Maye underwent a MRI this week.
After landing in London this morning, the Patriots are set to hold a traditional Friday practice at the Harrow School. The final injury report of the week will soon follow.
