From the outside looking in, “Thursday Night Football” doesn’t look very appetizing this week. The Patriots (2-10) will face the Steelers (7-5) tonight at Acrisure Stadium.
On the bright side, those in attendance will get to hear the national anthem performed by Styx. The band confirmed this news on social media.
“TUNE IN TONIGHT TO AMAZON PRIME,” the band wrote on Instagram. “Styx will be singing the National Anthem at the Steelers vs Patriots game at Acrisure Stadium for Thursday Night Football. Here we go #steelers!”
As you’d expect, Steelers fans are fired up about this development.

Although the Steelers won’t have Kenny Pickett under center, they’re favored over the lowly Patriots.
Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.
