New England Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones led the team’s locker room chant after their upset victory over the New York Jets in Week 8.
The Patriots earned their second win of the season and ended a six-game losing streak by handing their archrivals a 25-22 loss at Gillette Stadium.
Jones played a key role in the win for the Patriots. He was one of the top-five highest-graded defensive players for the team by Pro Football Focus.
It was a game that pitted New England’s defensive backfield against a talented Jets receiving corps featuring Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson catching passes from legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Jones and the Patriots’ defense stepped up on a day when the team needed it. They finally got back in the win column and silenced some of the noise surrounding first-year head coach Jerod Mayo.
It’s been a difficult road for the Patriots up to this point, but Sunday’s performance could serve as a springboard to more success in the second half of the season.
