The wild card round will continue Sunday with three more elimination games.
Mike Vrabel getting hired as head coach is obviously the biggest story surrounding the New England Patriots on Sunday. However, the NFL playoffs are also marching on: three games are scheduled to find out who will join the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens — plus the top-seeded Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions — in the divisional round.
Here is all the broadcast information as well as things to monitor for Saturday’s action.
1 p.m. ET
7 Denver Broncos at 2 Buffalo Bills: The Bills may have lost their season finale to the Patriots, but they are one of the hottest teams in the NFL; they are entering the wild card round having scored 30-plus points in 10 of their last 11 competitive games. The Broncos, for comparison, have been more hit-or-miss down the stretch and playing on the road in Buffalo will not be an easy thing for rookie QB Bo Nix and company. | CBS, Paramount+
4:30 p.m. ET
7 Green Bay Packers at 2 Philadelphia Eagles: Jalen Hurts clearing concussion protocol is good news for an Eagles team entering the playoffs off an impressive 12-1 stretch to end the season. While that was not enough to earn them the top seed in the NFC, it does make them the clear favorite over a Packers team that also had some questions at quarterback this week; Jordan Love suffered an elbow injury in Week 18 but is expected to start. | FOX, FOX Deportes
8:00 p.m. ET
6 Washington Commanders at 3 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The aforementioned Bo Nix is not the only rookie quarterback taking his team to the playoffs. Jayden Daniels, the second overall selection in the draft, also accomplished the feat. Standing between him and his first postseason win is a Buccaneers team that managed to turn the ship around after a 4-6 start to the season. | NBC, Peacock, Universo
