The Patriots will return home for their Week 6 game.
The more things change the more they stay the same — that’s the case when it comes to the New England Patriots and their upcoming Week 6 game against the Houston Texans. Even though the Patriots made their highly-anticipated change at quarterback to go from Jacoby Brissett to rookie Drake Maye, the oddsmakers continue to be low on them.
According to FanDuel, the Patriots are currently seen as 7-point home underdogs to the Texans this week. For comparison, they opened the week… as 7-point home underdogs.
Maye entering the lineup not changing the line makes sense, though. The Patriots as a whole remain vulnerable, especially on offense. Maye himself may be an unknown, but he is still a rookie making his first NFL start for a 1-4 team against a 4-1 squad.
The Patriots’ game against Houston is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. The over/under for the contest was set at 38.5.
