Get to know New England’s draft class, one selection at a time.
The 2025 NFL Draft is underway, and the New England Patriots started off by addressing the biggest need on their roster. With the fourth overall selection, the added offensive tackle Will Campbell.
With the LSU product as the headline name for this year’s draft class, let’s get to meet the group one selection at a time.
1-4 OT Will Campbell (LSU): The Patriots were expected to go offensive tackle early in the draft, and they wasted no time. The consensus No. 1 offensive lineman available this year, Campbell combines a blue-collar attitude, leadership skills with a mean streak on the field. Yes, there are questions about his length, but he held his own in the best conference in college football and projects as a Day 1 starter at left tackle. | News | Analysis | Profile | Instant grade
2-38 RB TreVeyon Henderson (Ohio State): The Patriots go to Mike Vrabel’s alma mater for their second pick of the draft. A productive runner and receiver in his four seasons as a Buckeye, Henderson adds versatility as well as speed and big-play ability to the offense. His pass protection skills should also allow him to carve out a prominent role on New England’s offense from early in his career. | News | Analysis | Instant grade
3-69 WR Kyle Williams (Washington State): After adding one explosive playmaker in the second round, the Patriots did the same in the third. Williams was a productive inside/out receiver in college who knows how to generate big plays and generate quick separation — two things New England’s passing game was lacking last season. | News | Analysis | Instant grade
4-95 C Jared Wilson (Georgia): Offense remained the theme of the draft for the Patriots at the end of Day 3. Following a series of trade-downs, they added the best pure center in the draft. Jared Wilson may have only started 12 games over his Georgia career, but he has the talent to compete for a starting role right out of the gate. | News | Analysis | Instant grade
