New England Patriots defensive tackle Davon Godchaux was disappointed following the Patriots’ 34-15 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
Godchaux had two tackles in a game where the Patriots struggled on both sides of the ball. The offense struggled with penalties and poor pass protection, while the defense got carved up by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins’ passing attack.
Godchaux was not shy about his overall feelings on the game, as the Patriots dropped to 3-9 on the season, while the Dolphins extended their winning streak to three games.
“It’s embarrassing,” said Godchaux, via ESPN’s Mike Reiss. “A tough pill to swallow, but you have to swallow it … 24-0 at halftime, we all played a part in it — coaches, players, everybody.”

The Patriots will try to start the month of December on a higher note when taking on another struggling team, the Indianapolis Colts.
There are five games left on New England’s 2024 regular season schedule. That’s plenty of time to end things in a positive manner.
