The New England Patriots will have some tough decisions to make with 17 players expected to hit the free agent market in 2025.
Lead personnel executive Eliot Wolf’s first rodeo as the one calling the shots was a major disappointment last year. Granted, the team did come away with a franchise quarterback in Drake Maye, but there were major failures to improve the roster on either side of the ball.
The cupboard was bare on offense with Maye lacking receiving weapons and playing behind one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. On defense, the unit completely fell apart at the seams when their depth was tested due to injuries.
