A look at the Patriots’ game day roster for their Week 13 game against the Cardinals.
The New England Patriots have traveled to Arizona for what will be their second-to-last road game of the 2024 NFL season. Coming out of the bye, they will have a golden opportunity to build some momentum for the home stretch against a Cardinals team having lost three in a row.
In order to get them back into the win column, the Patriots will rely on the following players.
Patriots game day roster: Week 15 vs. Cardinals
Quarterback (2): Drake Maye (10), Jacoby Brissett (7)
Running back (3): Rhamondre Stevenson (38), Antonio Gibson (4 | KR), JaMycal Hasty (39 | KR)

Two things quickly stand out when looking at the Patriots’ game day roster. The first is the absence of starting O-lineman Cole Strange, who has not yet been cleared for game action after returning from the physically unable to perform list earlier this week. As a consequence, New England is expected to once again use a Vederian Lowe-Layden Robinson-Ben Brown-Michael Onwenu-Demontrey Jacobs group up front.
Also of note is the shallow depth at wide receiver. With Javon Baker out due to a concussion and no wideouts elevated from the practice squad, the Patriots have only four players active at the position.
Could this be a hint at the game plan, though? The Patriots, after all, did elevate one player in rookie tight end Jack Westover. With four tight ends on the game day team, New England might try to go big against a run defense that is ranked in the bottom third in the NFL in both expected points added per play (-0.035; 25th) and success rate (43.7%; 28th).
Patriots reserves
Inactives (5): WR Javon Baker, S Marte Mapu, QB Joe Milton III (emergency QB), OL Tyrese Robinson, OL Cole Strange

Injured reserve (8): OL Jake Andrews, WR JaQuae Jackson, ED Oshane Ximines, LB Ja’Whaun Bentley, C David Andrews, OT Caedan Wallace (IR-R), LB Curtis Jacobs, DT Jaquelin Roy
New England’s reserves saw a few changes this week, including the return of Cole Strange to the active if not the game day roster. In addition, Caedan Wallace returned to practice whereas Jaquelin Roy was sent to IR, effectively ending his season.
The Patriots’ Week 15 game against the Cardinals will be kicked off at 4:25 p.m. ET at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ.
