The New England Patriots got blown out and sent packing worse than they arrived in their Week 4 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Center David Andrews suffered a shoulder injury during the game that is expected to require season-ending surgery. Safety Kyle Dugger and rookie offensive tackle Caedan Wallace also went down with injuries. Losing three viable contributors on the same day was even more devastating than dropping a third straight loss in a 30-13 Bay Area curb-stomping.
There were a few standouts for the Patriots in this matchup, including kicker Joey Slye, punter Bryce Baringer and safety Jabrill Peppers. Unfortunately, there was also plenty of bad for the team on both sides of the ball.
Let’s take a look at the highest and lowest-graded players in Week 4, per Pro Football Focus.
