The New England Patriots dropped their 10th loss of the season against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 13. It was a loss that stings more than most considering how much in control of the game the Patriots appeared to be at various points.
However, when it mattered most, it was the Colts going the length of the field late in the fourth quarter on a 19-play, 80-yard game-winning drive.
Make no mistake, there was plenty of good to take away from the Patriots’ performance, including the improved run-blocking, tremendous quarterback play and a more effective defensive secondary.
But it wasn’t enough to get the win.
