New England Patriots backup Joe Milton III is getting an early jump on the 2025 offseason by working with quarterbacks coach Jordan Palmer.
Several high-profile quarterbacks have worked with Palmer, including Josh Allen, Sam Darnold, Trevor Lawrence and Cade McNamara. Palmer is the founder of QB Summit, which is a series of camps designed to help quarterbacks reach their full potential.
In addition to helping prepare college and pro quarterbacks, QB Summit also has sessions for high school players.
Milton showed tremendous promise as a rookie quarterback in the few opportunities he had on the field last season. His best showing came against the Buffalo Bills in the regular season finale, when he went 22-of-29 passing for 241 yards and a touchdown.

Milton has been so impressive that some suggested quarterback-needy teams reach out to the Patriots for trade negotiations. Whether he’s trade bait or a reliable No. 2 option behind Drake Maye, people are beginning to take notice of Milton’s high ceiling.
