The New England Patriots are currently in the middle of a quarterback controversy.
They don’t know who will be the starter for this Sunday’s game against the New York Giants after Bill Belichick didn’t name one to start the week.
It’s led people to pay attention to who gets the first-team reps at practice. All three of Mac Jones, Bailey Zappe, and Will Grier are in contention to start.
In Grier’s case, he took some reps with the starters on Monday but wouldn’t say if that continued on Tuesday.
“I’ll let {Bill Belichick} tell you how the reps are divvied up,” Grier said. I’m not going to be the one to do that.”

He’s definitely learned a thing or two from Belichick in how he handles the media.
Belichick has five days to decide who will start as the Patriots search for their third win of the season.
Kickoff from MetLife Stadium be at 1 p.m. ET.
