The second injury report heading into Week 12 at Hard Rock Stadium.
Two stayed sidelined for the New England Patriots during Thursday’s work on the Miami Dolphins.
Defensive linemen Deatrich Wise Jr. and Jaquelin Roy both missed their fifth consecutive practice. Foot and neck injuries, respectively, recently saw both go from the questionable to the inactives.
But as rain sent head coach Jerod Mayo’s roster inside the WIN Waste Innovations Field House, offensive tackle Vederian Lowe and defensive tackle Christian Barmore followed.
Here’s the second injury report leading up Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Hard Rock Stadium.
DID NOT PARTICIPATE
Patriots
- DT Jaquelin Roy (neck)
- DE Deatrich Wise Jr. (foot)
Dolphins
- OT Terron Armstead (knee)
- DT Calais Campbell (veteran rest)
- CB Kendall Fuller (concussion)
Last Sunday’s 28-22 loss to the Los Angeles Rams marked only the fifth career game missed by Wise in the regular season. The defensive captain had exited in the fourth quarter the weekend prior against the Chicago Bears with a foot injury, while Roy exited with a neck injury prior to halftime at Soldier Field. From the edges to the interior of the line, they’ve combined to account for 39 tackles and seven sacks this fall.

After staying in for all 76 offensive snaps and catching the first touchdown of his football life, Lowe missed the initial practice of AFC East prep due to a shoulder injury. The starting blindside protector has since returned as a limited participant. Seven others also went in a partial capacity for the Patriots, including Godchaux in the middle of things. The veteran nose tackle was added to the injury report with a back ailment. And as for Strange, who projects to factor in both at guard and center, his 21-day window to return from the physically unable to perform list opened on Wednesday. The top pick in the organization’s 2022 draft class saw his sophomore NFL campaign end on injured reserve with a torn patellar tendon last December.

Diagnosed with blood clots at the start of training camp and activated from the non-football injury list on the eve of the Rams matchup, Barmore has been on hand for two out of four practices. But he graduated to full participation in his ramp-up schedule on Thursday. The four-year, $84 million defensive tackle’s 2024 debut spanned 21 snaps and a trio of stops. Elsewhere, tight end Austin Hooper and linebacker Christian Elliss both cleared New England’s side of the injury report.
