New England takes a 7-0 lead in London.
The New England Patriots spoke about starting fast all week and they did just that against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fielding the opening kickoff, they marched right down the field to score their first opening drive touchdown of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
On quarterback Drake Maye’s sixth completion of the series, he found running back JaMycal Hasty versus the blitz. The veteran running back, catching his second pass of the season, took the reception 16 yards to the end zone.
His catch-and-run touchdown was the Patriots’ first opening drive score of the season, giving New England a 7-0 lead over the Jaguars with 8:40 left in the first quarter.
