Game statuses for Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.
The New England Patriots will host the New York Jets down two members of the 2024 draft class.
Wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk and guard Layden Robinson have been ruled out ahead of the AFC East rematch in Foxborough after both rookies remained sidelined throughout preparations.
But eight members of the active roster move forward as questionable, including defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale and cornerback Jonathan Jones, who were new non-participants during the final practice of the week.
Here’s the rest of the game statuses heading into Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.
OUT
Patriots
- WR Ja’Lynn Polk (concussion)
- G Layden Robinson (ankle)
Jets
- G Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle)
- DT Leki Fotu (knee)
- S Ashtyn Davis (concussion)
Polk departed with a head injury late in what became a 32-16 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars last weekend in London. The wide receiver had been targeted three times prior to then and has since missed three consecutive practices while in the NFL’s concussion protocol. As for Robinson, the interior offensive lineman out of Texas A&M exited in the opening quarter at Wembley Stadium and was officially downgraded at halftime. He also remained absent throughout divisional prep.
DOUBTFUL
Patriots
- No players listed
Jets
- WR Allen Lazard (chest)
- S Tony Adams (hamstring)
While no Patriots have been listed as doubtful for Sunday’s matinee, a pair of Jets starters carry that game designation. Due to chest and hamstring injuries, respectively, neither Lazard out wide nor Adams in the secondary were cleared to practice this week.
QUESTIONABLE
Patriots
- OT Vederian Lowe (ankle)
- G Michael Jordan (ankle)
- G Sidy Sow (illness)
- DT Daniel Ekuale (abdomen)
- DE Keion White (ankle)
- LB Raekwon McMillan (back)
- LB Sione Takitaki (knee)
- CB Jonathan Jones (shoulder, personal)
Jets
- TE Kenny Yeboah (abdomen — IR return)
- OT Morgan Moses (knee)
Ekuale had popped up on New England’s injury report as a limited participant before staying sidelined on Friday. Dealing with an abdomen issue, the defensive tackle now stands among the questionable alongside the longest-tenured cornerback on the depth chart. Jones missed the final practice due to personal reasons after previously playing through a shoulder injury to log 66.4 percent of the defensive snaps this fall. The left side of the starting offensive line also enters the weekend as questionable due to lingering ankle injuries. Yet at left tackle, Lowe returned in a partial capacity for back-to-back practices after exiting midway through October against the Houston Texans.
Elsewhere, running back Rhamondre Stevenson, wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, linebackers Anfernee Jennings and Curtis Jacobs, as well as safeties Kyle Dugger and Marte Mapu will all go without game statuses for the Patriots.
