Game statuses for Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.
The New England Patriots will leave the door open for Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.
The organization ruled out no players on the final injury report of the week, and listed 10 as questionable, including defensive tackle Christian Barmore.
“For a guy who hasn’t really put on pads since January, it’s tough,” head coach Jerod Mayo said during his Friday press conference. “You never want to just throw a guy out there coming off an injury, regardless of what the injury is, throw him out there for 50 plays. That’s unrealistic. I think we see what he can handle, and we’ll build from there.”
New England’s 2023 leader in sacks and quarterback hits recently returned for his first practice since being diagnosed with blood clots at the start of training camp in July. With the 21-day clock to be activated from the non-football injury list now ticking, he went from a limited participant to a non-participant to conclude preparations.
Here’s the rest of the game statuses heading into Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.
OUT
Patriots
- No players listed
Rams
- OT Rob Havenstein (ankle)
- DT Neville Gallimore (neck)
- CB Charles Woods (ankle)
While no Patriots have yet to be ruled out, the Rams will visit Foxborough without three who remained sidelined on Friday. Count Havenstein among the scratches. The starting right tackle has handled 72 percent of the offensive snaps this fall. Due to an ankle injury, however, he went to the inactives last Monday night alongside Gallimore at nose tackle.
DOUBTFUL
Patriots
- No players listed
Rams
- OT Joe Noteboom (ankle)
Noteboom, who saw 70 downs at right tackle in the veteran incumbent’s absence versus the Miami Dolphins, moves forward as doubtful to play on Sunday. The swing bookend missed back-to-back-to-back practices for head coach Sean McVay’s side because of an ankle injury.
QUESTIONABLE
Patriots
- OT Vederian Lowe (shoulder)
- DT Christian Barmore (blood clots — NFI return)
- DT Daniel Ekuale (abdomen)
- DT Jaquelin Roy (neck)
- DE Deatrich Wise Jr. (foot)
- LB Christian Elliss (abdomen)
- LB Sione Takitaki (knee)
- CB Alex Austin (ankle — IR return)
- S Kyle Dugger (ankle)
- S Marte Mapu (neck)
Rams
- LB Byron Young (knee)
- CB Josh Wallace (hip)
In addition to Barmore, other decisions remain up in the air for New England up front. Wise stayed sidelined from Wednesday through Friday due to a foot injury that arrived late in what became a 19-3 win over the Chicago Bears. But the defensive captain off the edges moves forward as questionable. And so does Roy on the interior line. The October 53-man roster promotion also missed three straight sessions while managing a neck issue that resurfaced last Sunday at Soldier Field. It was road trip that fellow defensive starters in Elliss and Dugger had been ruled out ahead of. The latter missed the past three games due to an ankle injury, yet has since returned to the safety depth chart as a limited participant.
But wide receiver Tyquan Thornton, tight end Hunter Henry and cornerbacks Isaiah Bolden and Marcellas Dial Jr. finished the week in a full capacity. All four will go without game designations.
