The second injury report heading into Week 6 at Gillette Stadium.
The New England Patriots continued work on the Houston Texans without Rhamondre Stevenson.
The lead running back remained a non-participant during Thursday’s practice in Foxborough due to a foot issue. But safety and captain Kyle Dugger, who sat out the previous four sessions due to an ankle issue, joined the limited after missing his first start since 2022.
Here’s the second injury report leading up to Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.
DID NOT PARTICIPATE
Patriots
- RB Rhamondre Stevenson (foot)
Texans
- WR Robert Woods (foot)
- CB Kamari Lassiter (shoulder)
- S Jimmie Ward (groin)
Stevenson checked in for 92 scrimmage yards across 16 touches against the Miami Dolphins, and went outside zone to end zone from 33 yards away. He left the field under his own power after being attended to by the training staff late in the 15-10 loss. Consecutive missed practices have followed for June’s four-year, $36 million extendee. Veterans Antonio Gibson and JaMycal Hasty round out the active backfield depth chart in Foxborough. Fellow rushers Kevin Harris and undrafted rookie Terrell Jennings reside on the practice squad. And on the other side of the sidelined, a handful returned to practice for the Texans.
LIMITED PARTICIPATION
Patriots
- WR Kendrick Bourne (knee)
- WR K.J. Osborn (shoulder)
- G Layden Robinson (ankle, wrist)
- C Nick Leverett (ankle)
- DT Davon Godchaux (elbow)
- LB Sione Takitaki (knee — PUP return)
- CB Marcus Jones (groin)
- CB Marco Wilson (groin)
- CB Isaiah Bolden (hamstring)
- S Kyle Dugger (ankle)
Texans
- RB Joe Mixon (ankle)
- OT Tytus Howard (hamstring)
- G Kenyon Green (knee)
- DE Derek Barnett (shoulder)
- LB Jake Hansen (back)
- LB Del’Shawn Phillips (hip)
Dugger found himself among the inactives 90 minutes prior to kickoff last weekend after being listed as questionable on the final injury report. Through four starts in September, the Lenoir-Rhyne product recorded 20 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble and one pass deflection across 212 defensive snaps. He wouldn’t mark the only addition to the 10 limited on Thursday, as Bolden was a partial participant with a hamstring injury. The final selection in New England’s 2023 draft class recovered a blocked punt as the calendar turned to October.
FULL PARTICIPATION
Patriots
- OT Vederian Lowe (knee)
- LB Anfernee Jennings (shoulder)
- CB Jonathan Jones (shoulder)
Texans
- RB Dameon Pierce (hamstring)
- OT Laremy Tunsil (ankle)
- DT Kurt Hinish (calf — IR return)
Lowe graduated to full participation, joining two others, on the Gillette Stadium backfields. The starting left tackle missed matchups against the New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers before working through a knee injury to handle all 60 offensive snaps last Sunday.
