The New England Patriots took the Tennessee Titans to overtime in Sunday’s clash at Nissan Stadium, but they ultimately fell short of the goal in the end with a 20-17 loss.
It ended a three-game losing streak for the Titans against a Patriots team that failed to capitalize on their momentum from last week’s win over the New York Jets.
There were some positive takeaways from rookie quarterback Drake Maye’s performance, including his last-second touchdown pass that sent the game into overtime. However, he also had three turnovers in a game where the offensive line got demolished by the Titans’ defensive front.
The same could be said for the Patriots’ defensive line against the Titans’ offensive line. Tennessee rushed for 167 total ground yards in a game where they pounded New England into dust.
