Game statuses for the Week 9 matchup at Nissan Stadium.
The New England Patriots will visit the Tennessee Titans with eight questionable.
Quarterback Drake Maye, who practiced in a limited capacity from Wednesday through Friday while working through the NFL’s concussion protocol, headlines the list. And when asked whether the rookie starter out of North Carolina could potentially be cleared for Sunday, his head coach had a brief response.
“Yes,” Jerod Mayo told reporters during his final press conference of the week.
Here’s the rest of the game statuses heading into the 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Nissan Stadium.
OUT
Patriots
- No players listed
Titans
- RB Tyjae Spears (hamstring)
- OT Andrew Rupcich (triceps)
- CB L’Jarius Sneed (quad)
No Patriots have been ruled out ahead of the road trip to Nashville. A trio of Titans will officially miss the matinee, however, including Sneed atop the cornerback depth chart. The two-time Super Bowl champion and March trade acquisition started the initial five games of the fall. He will now be held out for a third consecutive matchup because of a quad injury.

Quarterback uncertainty also resides on the other side. But Maye began the week with a 30-minute practice window and appeared to graduate to the fourth phase of the league’s concussion protocol by Thursday. A club physician would need to clear the No. 3 overall pick for full-contact football activities, and from there, an independent neurological consultant would then need to clear him to play.
The questionable group also includes Lowe on the blindside, Roy on the interior defensive line and Elliss off the ball. Those three October starters went from sidelined to limited midway through work on Tennessee. And a defensive captain in Dugger also stands as 50-50 after going to the inactives list prior to kickoff last Sunday against the New York Jets due to an ankle injury.
Yet running back Antonio Gibson, wide receivers Ja’Lynn Polk and Tyquan Thornton, guard Layden Robinson, defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale, defensive end Keion White, linebacker Jahlani Tavai, cornerback Jonathan Jones and safety Marte Mapu went in full to conclude prep. All nine enter November without game designations.
