The New England Patriots will host the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday, Dec. 28, the NFL has announced. The first career meeting between quarterbacks Drake Maye and Justin Herbert is set to kick off at 1 p.m. ET as part of a tripleheader.

Chris Rose, Ross Tucker and Steve Wyche will be on the call in Foxborough for NFL Network. The game will remain available on local broadcast stations in the markets of the competing teams, in addition to streaming on NFL+ with live game audio airing nationally on Westwood One.
It loomed among a handful of Week 17 tilts subject to be flexed when the 2024 NFL slate was unveiled last spring. The rest of the final Saturday of the year is now also written in ink.
At 4:30 p.m. ET, the Denver Broncos will face the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium. And At 8 p.m. ET, the Arizona Cardinals will face the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium.
It marks the second schedule announcement in as many afternoons involving head coach Jerod Mayo’s roster.
The NFL flexed this Sunday’s Week 16 game against the Buffalo Bills from 1 p.m. ET to 4:25 p.m. ET. The AFC East encounter at Highmark Stadium between the 3-11 and 11-3 teams will remain on CBS.
