With the holiday season upon us, we are continuing our weekly tracking poll for confidence in the New England Patriots.
The team enters Christmas as losers of five consecutive games. However, the 3-point loss in Buffalo on Sunday may have been one of their best showings of the season considering the situation, location, and opponent.
However, the loss still showed many of the issues that have plagued the Patriots all season: ball security issues, miscommunications with the receivers and offensive line, and a defense that struggled to stop the run.
New England will host two games to wrap the season, facing the Los Angeles Chargers on a shorter week this Saturday before seeing the Buffalo Bills once again in the final week of the season.
