Plus, will the Patriots bounce back in October?
The Patriots dropped a third consecutive game this past Sunday, falling 30-13 to the San Francisco 49ers. Starting center and captain David Andrews departed early with a season-ending injury, and Jacoby Brissett and Rhamondre Stevenson’s early turnovers quickly turned into points as the game turned into a rout for the 49ers.
In addition to our weekly confidence tracking poll, we want to know your thoughts on the quarterback situation and the team’s outlook this month.
Through four games, starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett has just 536 yards passing with a pair of touchdowns and one interception that was returned for a touchdown. The veteran is struggling behind a makeshift line with the pieces changing every week due to a myriad of injuries. With the current situation, when should No. 3 overall pick Drake Maye see the field?
New England’s schedule this month eases up a little from September. October opens with the Patriots taking on the 1-3 Miami Dolphins, a team without starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa or edge rusher Jaelan Phillips. After that, the 3-1 Houston Texans come to town as the Patriots breakout their throwback uniforms.
The team takes a trip to London next to take on the winless Jacksonville Jaguars before returning to Foxborough for a rematch with the New York Jets. How many of these games do you expect the Patriots to win?
