The Patriots’ new head coach was a prolific receiver back in the day.
Even though he was a linebacker by trade back during his playing days, the New England Patriots’ new head coach also was a prolific receiver. In his role as a part-time tight end, Mike Vrabel caught 10 passes during his eight-year Patriots career. All 10 of those went for touchdowns.
So, in honor of Vrabel being hired as Patriots head coach, here is a collection of all of them:

In addition to those touchdowns, Vrabel also scored two as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs after leaving New England.
The Patriots hired Vrabel as their head coach on Sunday, one week after they fired their previous coach, Jerod Mayo, following an underwhelming 4-13 season. Vrabel previously worked as head coach of the Tennessee Titans for six years before joining the Cleveland Browns in a consulting role in 2024.
The organization will officially introduce him as the 16th head coach in franchise history on Monday.
