There are less than 24 hours before the New England Patriots take on the New York Giants and we still don’t know who will start at quarterback for the former.
Head coach Bill Belichick has been coy with the media this week when it comes to that situation and it may continue into Sunday.
Heck, Jeff Howe reported on Saturday that Belichick may not make his final decision until Sunday morning.
The Patriots’ decision to name a starting QB could happen as late as tomorrow morning before their game against the Giants, per sources. Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe split the starting reps this week in practice and had relatively comparable performances.

Howe then followed up that report by saying that the Patriots may play multiple quarterbacks in this game. Both Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe practiced with the first-team offense this week and were told to be ready to go.
Whoever starts tomorrow, don’t rule out the possibility of a rotation or quick hook. As Bill Belichick said several times this week, he told both QBs to be ready to play. https://t.co/N1hpMyIBAG

The Patriots come into this game with a 2-8 record and appear destined for another season with a below .500 record. The only way that doesn’t happen is if they win their last seven games, which is unlikely.
Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. ET.
