Plus, look for two young pass catchers to get involved.
The New England Patriots will try to end a two-game skid late Sunday afternoon in their first trip to the Bay area since 2016. They will take on the San Francisco 49ers, the defending NFC champions, as 10.5-point underdogs, according to FanDuel. according to FanDuel Sportsbook
Here are some prop bets that may catch your interest for Sunday afternoon.
Rhamondre Stevenson, Anytime TD (+130): Through three weeks, the Patriots have scored three touchdowns. Two of those have been scored by Rhamondre Stevenson. He is the workhorse of this offense, and he’ll be heavily involved anytime New England gets near the goal line.
Meanwhile, the 49ers allowed three touchdowns last week to the Rams. All three were scored by running back Kyren Williams.
DeMario Douglas, Over 32.5 Receiving Yards (-113): The Patriots made a concerted effort to get Douglas the ball last week. The result? 69 receiving yards on seven receptions. Douglas is the top receiving threat in this offense, and I believe Alex Van Pelt will try to involve him yet again.
Ja’Lynn Polk, Over 1.5 Receptions (-165): Ja’Lynn Polk has seen an increasing role in New England’s passing attack, and there’s no reason to think that won’t continue this Sunday. Expect him to be targeted by Jacoby Brissett in this one.
Longshot of the Week: Polk Notches Another
Each week, I’ll pick a bet or two with long odds that I like in this section.
Ja’Lynn Polk, Anytime TD (+800): We got this right when Polk scored his first touchdown a few weeks ago. The rookie should be a red zone target for New England’s offense yet again where his run blocking ability gets him on the field.
