One of the longest-tenured members of the organization is set to depart.
Robyn Glaser, one of the New England Patriots’ longest-tenured and highest-ranking employees, is set to leave the team after 18 seasons. As reported, among others, by Ben Belford-Peltzman of the Patriots Beat and Mike Reiss of ESPN, Glaser informed the organization of her plans to resign by mid-February.
Glaser most recently served as the Patriots’ executive vice president of football business as well as a senior advisor to previous head coach Jerod Mayo.
She was responsible for business negotiations, finance, human resources, legal and compliance with the NFL. Glaser was promoted to that role following the departure of long-time head coach Bill Belichick in January 2024.
First joining the organization in 2007, Glaser initially served as a senior advisor to ownership as well as club counsel. In that latter role, she was involved in both the “Spygate” and “Deflategate” scandals of 2007 and 2015, respectively. New England was eventually stripped first-round draft picks for both.
She was named vice president in 2011, and senior vice president in 2018. Four years later, her title was updated to senior vice president, business affairs, and chief administrative officer of football.
Having worked closely with team owners Robert and Jonathan Kraft, Glaser becomes the highest-ranking member of the Patriots to leave this offseason. How her role will be replaced remains to be seen.
New England fired Jerod Mayo after a 4-13 regular season, and has since introduced Mike Vrabel as its 16th head coach.
