The New England Patriots traded linebacker Joshua Uche to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, bringing an end to a near five-year stint.
He was traded away for a 2026 sixth-round draft pick.
The Michigan product recorded 78 combined tackles and 20.5 sacks in his Patriots career. He was selected by New England in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft and established himself as a key part of the Patriots defense for the first three years of his tenure.
He broke onto the scene as a premier pass-rusher with 11.5 sacks in 2022. That number has dipped dramatically in the last two seasons.
