The New England Patriots scored their first touchdown of Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears courtesy of a Drake Maye and Ja’Lynn Polk connection.
The touchdown gave the Patriots a 10-3 lead following the extra point late in the second quarter.
The drive had a little bit of everything with the Patriots establishing balance with the run and pass to move the ball downfield. It took 10 plays, 70 yards and 5:31 off the clock.
It was Polk’s second touchdown of the season and his first touchdown grab since the season-opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Washington product’s struggles have been well-documented this season.
However, he was able to make an impact on Sunday.

Sometimes all it takes is one play for a young player to gain some confidence and get things back on track. Here’s hoping this touchdown reception does that for Polk.
