Patriots rooting guide
Baltimore Ravens (4-2) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-2): Go Bucs! The Patriots will side with the opposing conference in this one. | 8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN
Los Angeles Chargers (3-2) at Arizona Cardinals (2-4): Go Cardinals! Similar to above, New England will side with the NFC, especially as both team’s fall on their schedule. | 9:00 p.m. ET, ESPN+
Patriots picks
Oliver Thomas: They don’t make running backs like Derrick Henry anymore. He has found the end zone in every game this season. He has also amassed 88 carries for 574 yards over the course of his last four games. When the Ravens can play the way they want to, it’s like waiting in line at the DMV for opposing defenses. | Ravens 35, Buccaneers 28
It’s been tough to get a read on the Cardinals. A week removed from three turnovers and 13 penalties worth 100 yards, it’ll have to become clearer for Kyler Murray & Co. on Monday night. But Jim Harbaugh’s brand of football should keep things close in Arizona. | Cardinals 21, Chargers 17
Brian Hines: Derrick Henry has returned to form with the Ravens while Lamar Jackson has thrown for over 300 yards in each of his last two games. On the other sideline, Baker Mayfield has been just as good tossing seven touchdowns his last two games, perhaps setting the scene for a high scoring affair. | Ravens 34, Buccaneers 31
The Cardinals rank 29th in the league allowing 153 rushing yards per game, which is music to Jim Harbaugh’s ears. With a banged up receiver group, LA will once again pound the rock and control the clock. | Chargers 20, Cardinals 13
