Can the boys salvage a win in Queens behind Tanner Houck?
The Red Sox look to salvage their series against the Mets behind Tanner Houck, and to keep a dream of October alive a little longer, tonight in Queens against Tylor Megill (7:10 p.m., NESN).
The Sox seem to be coming undone, with Rafael Devers coming under scrutiny for some irregular postgame activity that, sure enough, rankled some media feathers but even with a potentially bum shoulder he’s in the lineup tonight in the 2-hole.
Tonight’s lineup for the Red Sox against the Mets:
1. Jarren Duran CF
2. Rafael Devers 3B
3. Wilyer Abreu RF
4. Tyler O’Neill LF
5. Masataka Yoshida DH
6. Triston Casas 1B
7. Connor Wong C
8. Enmanuel Valdez 2B
9. Nick Sogard SSTanner Houck starts. 7:10 first pitch. pic.twitter.com/LJSYQK4PD2

This is the last game before the Sox head to Chicago for a three-game set against the historically bad White Sox, and it would be lovely to head there on a relatively good note. A loss and they’re back to .500. So: Pretty please?
