Trevor Story returns!
The Red Sox look to stay above .500 and not embarrass themselves by losing to one of the worst teams in baseball history (again) behind Cooper Criswell against, unfortunately for us, Garrett Crochet, at 7:15 p.m., on FOX. Yes, the Saturday Night Baseball game is between two teams a combined 77 games below .500 on the NFL’s opening weekend. Slay!
The most fun part of this game, though, is that it’s the return of Trevor Story. I’m rooting for him, you’re rooting for him, the American people are rooting for him, and he’s back. I did not expect this, and it’s cool to have a proper shortstop:

The White Sox won’t start Trevor Story, because he’s on the Red Sox. They will start Andrew Benintendi instead, batting third.
They are 78 games below .500.

The Red Sox need to sweep this series for every reason possible and there’s every reason to believe that Crochet, should he have “it,” is the largest challenge they will face this weekend. Let’s got it with it.
