A series win? With THIS Red Sox team? Is it more likely than we think?
After another horrifically played game to open the series, the Red Sox bounced back effectively for Game 2, reminding us that they can indeed be good, score runs, and play clean defense. But with the star of yesterday’s game (Bregman) out of the lineup to go be with his expectant wife, and with low overall confidence in Newcomb, can the Red Sox snag a series win, or will their lingering issues plague them yet again? We’ll have to see who takes better advantage of Steinbrenner Field today.
