We made it to the weekend.
Last night the Yankees felt some ghosts getting into their game. But it wasn’t Mystique and Aura it was Big Papi and Dave Roberts. Ready to win the game after 9 innings the Yankees blew the save and then lost in extra innings. Now, instead of ending the series this would have only made it 3-0 but it was 20 years to the day of The Steal.
Anyway the Yankees lost 7-5. They play again tonight at 8:08 PM ET on TBS.
The Dodgers, led by Ohtani, Mookie, Muncy, etc etc etc (it was a real team effort) demolished Grimace and the Mets 10-2. They are now one win away from the World Series. The NL draws the early game tonight: first pitch is at 5:08 PM ET on FS1.
