The Red Sox might (almost) all have stomach bugs but that hasn’t stopped Trevor Story. The shortstop is healthy and swinging the bat: 458/.480/.875 over 8 games. Do Spring Training stats count. No. Could he hit .200 in the regular season? Yup. BUT he’s a productive hitter when healthy and this might be the first time he’s had everything going right heading into the season since signing with Boston.
Cora says plan is for Devers to play on Wednesday.

Presumably he’ll work his way into the lineup at DH and go from there but either way it’s nice to see him on the path to recovery as the season nears.
