Fingers crossed
Happy Wednesday.
Rafael Devers was expected to play today, Wednesday, but that’s been pushed off until Saturday.
Lucas Giolito, who famously has never pitched for the Red Sox, made his return to games and was bad (eh, spring, whatever) but also pulled a hamstring.
Alex Cora said that Lucas Giolito will get an MRI tomorrow. He hopes to have more of an update on the situation by Thursday.
“Hopefully it’s nothing major and he can make his next start,” Cora said.— Ian Browne (@ianmbrowne.bsky.social) 2025-03-11T20:46:19.451Z
Luckily for the Red Sox they have Richard Fitts and Quinn Priester ready to fill the back of the rotation.
Brayan Bello will be starting the year on the IL. He’s described more as delayed than anything else.
Talk about what you want and be good to one another.
