North of the border for the week
Did you know the Red Sox have played 30 games in 33 days? That’s the most in the big leagues, even more than the Cubs and Dodgers, who got a two-game head start. For the rest of the season, save for a week or two, they’ll get at least one off-day, which should go a long way in managing the bullpen and allowing me to check movies off my watchlist.
Lucas Giolitio should also help that cause by bringing a new arm to the rotation. He makes his long-awaited Red Sox debut tonight in Toronto. It’s the first of a three-game series to end the road trip.
