Guess who’s back?
Welcome back Rich Hill!
This will be the eighth time Rich Hill has signed a free agent contract with the Red Sox. Not a joke. Fact.

Like looking for Gandalf at first light on the fifth day, Rich Hill returns with glorious purpose to lead the Red Sox into October! Or, more likely, provide a few innings of who-can-say quality.
Boston fell to 63-57, 2.5 game back in the Wild Card and 8.0 in the AL East. The slow march back to .500? Or the incredibly rough start to the unofficial second “half” about to ease up after this road trip?
Remembering 2004
Game 120: This was better. A 10-1 crushing of the Chicago White Sox. Manny Ramirez and Orlando Cabrera each homered. Mark Buehrle gave up 9 runs in 6+ innings. The Red Sox had 13 hits despite David Ortiz, Kevin Millar, and Gabe Kapler all going hitless. 68-52.
Talk about what you want and be good to one another.
Breaking News
Casas returns!
Sources: Barring something unforeseen before first pitch, Triston Casas is expected to be activated for the Red Sox in Baltimore tonight.
The wait is over.
