Or not…
Happy Tuesday.
The Red Sox lost in crushing fashion to the Houston Astros and now sit at 65-59, 7.5 games back in the AL East, 4.5 games back of the Wild Card.
Tanner Houck was fine. 6.0 innings, 2 earned runs, 8Ks. But the bullpen seems intent on dragging the team back to .500.
They’ll be back at it tonight at 8:10 PM ET with Nick Pivetta facing off against Ronel Blanco.
Remembering 2004
Game 124: Tim Wakefield and the Sox topped Miguel Batista and the Toronto Blue Jays to improve to 71-53. Doug Mirabelli hit a bomb, as he was want to do.
Talk about what you want and be good to one another.
