Road trip ended up…ok!?!?!
Happy Thursday.
With a win yesterday afternoon the Red Sox are now 67-59, 6.5 games back in the AL East, 3.5 games back in the Wild Card. FanGraphs playoff odds are at 39.2%. All things considered the road trip was a 4-3 effort. Not to shabby.
Boston is off today to travel back home to Fenway Park where they host the Arizona Diamondbacks for a weekend series starting tomorrow.
Remembering 2004
Game 126: This was a 4-1 win with Bronson Arroyo outdueling Jason Johnson. Mike Timlin and Keith Foulke provided scoreless relief – and a save. Dave Roberts and Johnny Damon each stole a base. The three runs were scored at three times with Mark Bellhorn, David Ortiz, and the aforementioned Roberts each collecting an RBI. 73-53
Talk about what you wand and be good to one another.
