.04%? Nah we’re at .08% now!
Happy Wednesday.
With another win – four in a row – the Red Sox sit at 80-78.
The 78-84 three-peat people were cheering for? Done.
A 79 win “improvement” is also off the table.
They are one win from securing a .500 season, which, granted, heading into the All Star Break at 10 games over .500 is a bit of a letdown. But the improvement in 2024 is coming from Brayan Bello. It’s coming from Ceddanne Rafaela. It’s coming from Tanner Houck and Kutter Crafword. And Jarren Duran. And the star himself, Rafael Devers. It’s coming from Trevor Story playing his position and getting everyone else to be on the field where they should be too.
Which isn’t to say 2025 is a guarantee to be even better yet. This team needs a lot. But picking themselves off the mat and not going Full Collapse is nice in any year.
Talk about what you want and be good to one another.
