Miguel Bleis makes his first start of spring training.
Well, none of us got to see Garrett Crochet strike out seven hitters in three innings of work while maybe but probably not hitting 101 MPH on the radar gun, but we will get to see Cooper Criswell start against the Blue Jays today.
Cooper Criswell starts aren’t the most exciting things in the world, but there are some exciting things about this lineup, starting with Miguel Bleis. Bleis, who has more tools than your grandpa’s garage, has dealt with a number of injuries the past two seasons and struggled upon promotion to high-A Greenville last year. But he still has one of the highest ceilings in the whole Red Sox system.
We’ll also get another look at Jhostynxon Garcia while Kristian Campbell will again start in left field.
Catch the game at 1:07 PM (what, why?) on NESN.
Off to Dunedin!
